CMD networking utilities (CUI) are leveraged to carry out networking activities and network administration tasks, here are the few most used CMD networking utilities.
Ipconfig –> Display IP/TCP network config values & refresh DNS and DHCP.
ipconfig/all –> Provides IP Config data.
ipconfig/release -> Released all the IP CONNECTIONS.
ipconfig /renew -> renewing new IP ADDRESSES in the system.
ipconfig/allcompartments -> Will display all compartments info.
ipconfig/allcompartments/all -> Show Detailed info about all compartments.
NS lookup -> The CMD Utility will provide all the vital information referring to the IP address, DOMAIN NAME, AND DNS servers, it also Provides detailes of mapping between a domain name and IP ADDRESS.
PING -> This is the most commonly used networking command which is leveraged to check the system connectivity with the internet via ICMP Protocol.
Ping Send —> To check host connectivity, 4 PACKETS are sent to check the connectivity with the host.
netstat-> The CMD utilities provide all the states of the network devices that are connected, Netstat provides the information about connections/protocols, network stats, and IP ADDRESSES, it also shows the Protocol status.
Systeminfo -> The cmd utility shows software and hardware details.
