LOGICAL GATES

Logic gates perform logical functions, logic gates are the fundamental part of digital logical circuits and are the basic building blocks of digital systems, logical gates carry out logical operations.

Logical Functions utilizes diodes / transistors for electronic switching. Logic gates uses transistors and diodes which acts as electrical switches, the voltage will be passed through inputs and output in voltages value will be returned (Binary Ops only 1 and 0s).

Logic gates are I/O switches that are combined to form the desired output. Boolean Algebra is utilized to carry out LOGICAL OPERATION in LOGICAL GATES.

Logic gate operations are carried out with a truth table. Logic gates can hold states, which facilitates data storage and by connecting many gates results in data computations and storage in binary format (electric charge stored in the chip in a specified fashion and pattern.)

 It is quantum technology that is evolving at a very fast rate, the size of the chip is getting smaller and the chip component density is increasing. Transistors are getting smaller than atoms. Quantum computing and AI are evolving at a faster rate. Logic gates perform boolean operations.

Logic gates are fabricated by adapting to CMOS technology, CMOS leverages both NMOS and PMOS transistors, please note that million-millions of logic gates are printed in small IC symbols and are standardized by (IEEE, SNSI, JIC, and IEC).

Note: Digital logic gates are significantly faster, more energy efficient, and smaller than relay and switch equivalents.
